What to ask before your first aesthetic consultation
A useful starting point: discuss qualifications, your goals, realistic expectations, risks, alternatives, costs and aftercare.
A first consultation works best as a two-way conversation. These questions help you leave with a clear picture:
- Who will perform the treatment, and what is their training?
- What results are realistic for me, and how long might they last?
- What are the risks, and how are complications handled?
- Are there alternatives, including doing nothing for now?
- What does the full cost look like, including follow-up?
- What should I do before and after?
